Living Hope Ministries (LHM), and ministries like LHM, are under attack. Because LHM stands on God’s Word and design for human sexuality, our mere existence is a threat to those promoting beliefs and behaviors that fall far outside God’s Word and design. As a result, blogs, articles, podcasts, vodcasts, books, and even a “documentary” has recently been produced which specifically names LHM and me, as its leader, and assigning to us all manner of ill motivations, intentions, control, manipulation, and...

I rarely address issues that are breaking in the news. But, the recent announcement of Chick-Fil-A’s withdrawal of support for the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes signals one more momentary win for the forces of darkness against the forces of light. Once again, pressure from the pro-LGBTQ+ community, media, and secular worldview has influenced a company to deviate from their strong support of Christian organizations and agencies to a compromised position that is more acceptable...
Mr. Cook,
I hope this letter finds you in good spirits leaving the Holidays, this was the first Christmas I’ve gotten to spend with my family for some time. I’ve had a lot of difficulties loving my family or having grace on them for not “getting me” in my childhood. Living Hope Ministries (LHM) in Arlington, TX has helped me a lot with that in their sermons, podcasts, and weekly support groups – a lot of wonderful healing has happened in...

The times they are a-changin’ was the album title of 1960’s Bob Dylan album, but might be an appropriate description of the cultural and spiritual landscape of 2013.
Most people have read or heard of the closing of Exodus International. For over thirty-seven years Exodus has been a portal through which people would find an association of ministries who sought to offer help for those seeking to walk away from homosexuality and pursue a Biblical sexual ethic for their lives. For...
God is doing great things at the Bryan/College Station satellite that started in February. We have added new people almost every week since we started, and many of those have come as references from local churches that are excited about partnering with Living Hope in BCS. It’s so exciting to see the great work the Lord has begun in the men and women who come regularly, and many are seeing real victories over sexual temptation and are seeing in fresh...
