Men's Minister and Director of the Institute of Biblical Sexuality
817-459-2507 ext. 2
Bruno’s relationship with Living Hope Ministries (LHM) began when he met his wife, Giselle in 2008. The ministry became an essential resource for both Bruno and Giselle as they navigated his personal struggles with same-sex attraction and nurtured their growing relationship. Originally from Brazil, the couple lived in New York City before moving to Texas to actively participate in God’s work through LHM.
Drawing from his diverse background as a missionary, educator, and entrepreneur, Bruno has served as the Men’s Minister and Director of Operations with Living Hope since 2016. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Institute of Biblical Sexuality, which he co-founded in 2021. However, his favorite ministry is being husband to Giselle and father to Sophia, Isaac, and Sarah.
Bruno holds a Bachelor of Science in Nonprofit Management from Mercy College, and a Master of Arts in Education from CUNY Hunter College. He is a Ph.D. candidate (ABD) in Family Ministry and Generational Studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His working dissertation, “An Attempt to Achieve a Consensus on the Definition of the Term Biblical Sexuality: A Delphi Study,” provides a theology of God’s design for sexuality aimed at equipping the Church to respond biblically and redemptively to human sexuality.
