Hope Has a Name – Book

The pages of this book tell the stories of men, women, and families who discovered a living hope in the person and work of Jesus. They have seen incredible transformation take place in their lives. They have been transformed by Jesus Christ, who has empowered them with His Spirit to live counterculturally. Each person is a brave soul who is willing to shine the light of truth in a world growing increasingly dark with sin and disbelief. But, like stars in the night sky, hope shines brightest when the sky is darkest. The famous English preacher, C. H. Spurgeon said it best: “Hope itself is like a star – not to be seen in the sunshine of prosperity, and only to be discovered in the night of adversity.”

The stories in this book are just a small representation of the tens of thousands of people around the world who have been touched by Living Hope Ministries over the past thirty years. Their lives are living testimonies of the power of God to rescue, restore, and redeem those who hear His voice and surrender to His lordship. These brave and courageous individuals are from every walk of life. Each has either gone on to marry and establish incredible Christian families or has embraced his/her singleness and dedicated his/her life and love to serve God faithfully in His church. Each person is a trophy of God’s grace and proof that “with God all things are possible” (Matt. 19:26).
